GREER, S.C. —
A Delta flight from Richmond, Virginia, had to make an emergency landing at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport on Sunday night.
Flight 1307 was heading to Atlanta, according to airport spokesperson Dudley Brown.
There were 149 passengers and 5 crew members on the plane, Brown said.
The flight landed around 7 p.m., Brown said.
The flight was diverted "out of an abundance of caution due to a possible maintenance issue," a statement from Delta said.
The MD-88 aircraft landed without any problems, Delta said.
