There are many USAAF Kittyhawk crashes not listed below. For example, the 49th Pursuit Group lost 30 Kittyhawks in NSW within two weeks of receiving their aircraft.Of the 330 Kittyhawks delivered to the USAAF by March 1942, 140 had been wrecked in training accidents in Australia. |
