Peace Showed His Hand...

As I gently held his newborn body,
thoughts that do linger
at the edge of my memory,
I held on so tight,
had felt like I couldn't cling
even one more night,
Then peace showed His hand,
as I held that vision in mine,
he smiled at me,
I almost couldn't breathe,
so in love with them,
"my baby boy" and "my man,"
"Jesus my man"&"our baby boy",
and "Our BATTLE plan"
Now truly free."
