Emergency Landing in LR for Delta Flight
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A Delta Air Lines flight headed from Atlanta to Orange County, Calif. made an emergency landing at Clinton National Airport Thursday morning.
The Boeing 757-200 with 198 passengers and 6 crew members made the stop around 9 a.m. after a flight attendant reported a smoky odor in the rear cabin (not the cockpit).
Flight 1941 landed safely without incident and taxied to the gate where customers deplaned normally, said an email from Michael Thomas with Delta's Corporate Communications office, adding that “Delta has dispatched an alternate aircraft to continue the flight to Orange County.”
