Walk into Mordor: ideal premise for a heist movie
“One does not simply walk into Mordor.”
This is great. Writer-comedian Stephan Krosecz (who I’ve been a fan of since his very amusing Abridgement ofthe first season of the Attack on Titan anime) observed that Boromir’s walk into Mordor monologue from Peter Jackson’s Fellowship of the Ring could make a great premise for a heist film.
So he went away and did it. Check it out, it’s very clever — love the music.
Considering taking Boromir’s “One does not simply walk into Mordor” monologue and editing it with b-roll of Mordor like a heist movie. I bet you could make it work shockingly well.
Bootnote: not sure whether embeds are disabled or it’s my own html incompetence, but I couldn’t insert the video into this post. But click the linked screenshot and it’ll take you to the right spot in Stephan’s twitter feed to have a squiz.
