A 5xLP collection for The Fellowship of the Ring
The soundtrack to Peter Jackson’s first The Lord of the Rings movie is finally making its way to vinyl. Rhino has announced a box set titled The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring: The Complete Recordings, which comes out on April 6. The 5xLP collection is pressed on red vinyl. Preview the Fellowship box set below. Howard Shore composed the music for the Lord of the Rings trilogy. His Fellowship of the Ring score won the Academy Award for Best Original Score in 2001. According to a press release, Rhino will also release color vinyl editions of Shore’s scores for the second (The Two Towers) and third (The Return of the King) films in the trilogy.
