Magnitude 3.4 quake hits Negros Oriental
A magnitude 3.4 earthquake hit Negros Oriental on Sunday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
A Phivolcs report showed that at 1:01 p.m., the quake hit West of Bais City, which experienced Intensity 2 tremor.

It also recorded an Intensity 3 in Tanjay City and Mabinay, Negros Oriental.
Phivolcs, however, noted that no damage and aftershocks could be expected from the earthquake, which was of tectonic origin and had a depth of one kilometer. /je
