Judith (Ru-d-do-c-k) K-ra-ye-s-ki, 83, of C-hi-co-pe-e, formerly of Holy-ok-e, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center.
J-u-d-y was born in Springfield, daughter of the late S'-te-p'-hen and Al-ic-e (Hi-c-k-la-n-d) Ru-d-do-c-k. She was a longtime mem-ber of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Ho-l'-y-ok-e. J-u-di-t'-h was predeceased by her beloved husband K'-ar-o-l'- K-ra-ye-s-ki in 2012.
Judy attended Miss Barker's School and later West Springfield High School. She is described by those who k-new her as sweet and thoughtful. She had a lovely singing voice and could mim-ic her grandmother's Irish Brough easily. (W-hi-ch she did f-re-qu-e-nt-l'-y to the de-light of her siblings! Judy being the el-d-est of s-eve-n.)
She is survived by her siblings: M-ar-k Ru-d-do-c-k, B-ar-b-ar-a L'-i-n-k, Mary De-lu-de, L'-i-n-da Ru-d-do-c-k, B-ru-c-e Ru-d-do-c-k; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, David Ru-d-do-c-k.
A funeral service will be held Friday January 19 at 11:00am in the Ba-rr-y J. Fa-r-re-l'-l' Funeral Home, 2049 North-am-p'-t'-on Street, Holyoke, followed by burial in Sa-i-nt Je-ro-me Cemetery.

Ge-n-ev-i-eve "Gi-d-g-et" A-nn (Per-ki-n-s) Forest, 79, passed away at home on Wednesday January 10, 2024. Born in Holyoke on August 28, 1944, she was the daughter of Ar-t'-hu-r and C-la-i-re G-re-n-o-n (Kir-win) Per-kin-s and a lifelong Holyoke rsdnt. Ge-n-ev-i-eve was a graduate of Holy-ok-e High School and in early years was employed at A-ve-r'-y Denison before working as a C.N.A. at Mt. M-a-ri-e in Holy-o-ke, for over 15 years before retiring. Ge-n-ev-i-eve was never idle, she lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She enjoyed reading, chatting with friends and family but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. The family wishes to thank all the caregivers that she has had over the years, special thanks to Al-l'-ie, April and C-ar-me-n. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, K-e-nn-et-h M. Forest of Holy-ok-e; her three children, M-i-ch-el-l'-e A. Fo-r'-est of Holyoke, Stephen M. Forest of Holyoke and Tracy A. L'-y-n-ch and her husband T'-i-mo-t'-h-y of West Springfield; her sister, La-u-re-n C-la-r-k of Holy-ok-e; five adored grandchildren, Ja-mi-e, A-u-tu-m-n, J-o-sep-h, K-at-h-r-y-n and B-ra-d-l'-ey and by her three loved great-grandchildren, Noah, Lo-g-an and C-ai-de-n. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Ma-ri-l'-y-n As-si-n-k. A period of visitation will be held on Thursday January 18th from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the B-ru-ne-l'-l'-e Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 North-am-p'-t'-on St., Holyoke, MA. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Forest-da-l'-e Cemetery in Holyoke.

George J. T-ar-now-s-ki passed away, age 73, on December 23, 2023. Born on March 23, 1950, in Holyoke, George was the beloved son of the late George and Mary A-nn (W-al-s-h) T-ar-now-s-ki. He dedicated many years as a re-g'-io-na-l' maintenance supervisor for the Ber-ez-i-n Family of Mount Holy-ok-e Management before re-t'-i-ring. A lifelong Chicopee resident, he was a member of the H-am-p'-de-n County Sheriff's Department and dedicated 10 years of service to the City of C-hi-co-pe-e Licensing Commission. In his earlier years, he served as a P-T-L (Special) for the city of Chicopee Police Department. George had a passion for golf and the B-ru-in-s. He leaves behind his ch-e-ri-s-h-e-d wife of 31 years, C-ar-o-l (N-oe-l') T-ar-now-s-ki, who was not only his spouse but also his best friend and soulmate. His loss is deeply felt. He is mourned by his family, his s-te-p-daughters L'-y-nn and her husband Brian B-ie-r-worth of A-u-ro-ra, OH, and T-am-my Ja-b-lo-n-s-ki of Johnson City, TN; his sister Kim P-hi-lo-bo-t-te (J-oe), and seven s-te-p-grandchildren. George was predeceased by his son B-r-et-t, s-te-p-daughter Mary K-elder, and brother K-ev-in. The family invites friends to pay respects at G-rise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, C-hi-co-pe-e, on January 3, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held the following day, January 4, from 10:30 – 11:30 AM, with a prayer service at 11:30 AM and burial at Calvary Cemetery. The T'-ar-now-s-ki family expresses gratitude to the Chicopee Fire Department for their help and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chicopee Fire Department (80 Church Street , Chicopee, MA 01020) or to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org in memory of George T-ar-now-s-ki.
