*~Christ on a White Horse~
11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He [a]had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in [b]fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a [c]sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

*~LAVIK(La-v-ik)~~
*~La-v-ik is a village in Hø-y'-anger Municipality in V-est-la-n-d county, Nor-w-ay. The village is located on the northern shore of the So-g'-ne-f'-jor-de-n, approximately 100 ki-l'-om-et-r'-es (62 miles) north of the city of Ber-g'-en and about 50 ki-l'-om-et-r'-es (31 miles) west of the m-un-ic-ip-al center of Hø-y-anger. La-v-ik is situated about 40 ki-l'-om-et-r'-es (25 miles) west of the villages of K-y-r'-k'-je-bø and A-us-t'-re-im, and about 25 ki-l'-om-et-r'-es (16 miles) southwest of the village of V-ad-he-im. In 2001, the La-v-ik area had a population of about 1000 people, with about 285 living in the village of La-v-ik.[2]~
*~The village area is named after the old La-d-v-ik farm (Old Nor-se: L'-am-v-Ãk'-um), since La-v-ik Church is located there. The first element comes from the Old Norse word h-la-ð w-hi-ch means "pile" or "load". The second element possibly comes from the Old Norse word v-Ãk-r' w-hi-ch means "in-l'-et". Historically the spelling has varied greatly. It was La-du-ig-h in the 16th century, La-du-ig in the 17th century, L'-ad-v-ig in the 18th century, La-de-v-ig in the 19th century, and finally La-v-ik in the 20th century.[4]~
