After rumors swirled last September surrounding their supposed secret engagement, it now appears official: Kate Middleton’s sister Pippa and herfamous rear-end

are engaged to marry banker Nico Jackson — according to a report in US Weekly .

However, other sources are still denying the rumor. The couple has been dating 15 months, but it has been said they have been engaged since September, but Pippa did not want to steal the spotlight from the birth of her nephew, Prince George. However, now, some are saying that Jackson popped the question earlier this month at Oberoi Amarvilas, a five-star resort in India with views of the Taj Mahal.

The 35-year-old is a stockbroker at Deutsche Bank in London , where he supposedly made his fortune. It was also through his job that he began to rub elbows with socialites and because of his charm and good looks, moved up in the social stratosphere. His parents’ house in England is said to be valued at $400,000. When reports of their dating first came out, the Daily Mail was sure to report on Jackson’s status, saying, “Pippa Middleton has fallen for a man who does not own a grand country estate or have an impeccable pedigree.” Pippa is a part-time party planner.

The Smith’s ex-frontman Morrissey just bashed Pippa last month. According to The Mirror, he said, “The sick face of modern Britain, Pippa Middleton will kill deer, boar, birds – any animal struggling to live, or that gets in her socialite way. This is because her sister is, of course, Kate, who herself became ‘royal’ simply by answering the telephone at the right time, and this association allows Pippa’s kill, kill, kill mentality to be smilingly endorsed.”

Unlike Pippa and her sister, Jackson did not attend fancy schools. He went to The Harvey Grammar School in Folkestone and London’s Kingston University, a public college. After graduating, he won a spot on advertising agency M&C Saatchi’s graduate training scheme, but decided to switch careers.

2. HIS FATHER OWNS A SKI SHOP

He bonded with Pippa over skiing because his father, Martyn Jackson, owns a ski and sports shop, Landau, in their hometown of Folkstone. In fact, some speculate that the couple met while skiing. His mother Ulrike Jackson, 56, who helps run the shop, met Pippa and is quoted with saying, ‘We’re very pleased. They are happy, and that is all that matters. As long as my children are happy, then I am happy.”

3. HE GOT THE STAMP OF APPROVAL FROM THE MIDDLETONS

According to the Daily Mail , Pippa brought Jackson to her family’s vacation home in Mustique and they are “charmed by him.” Prince William and Kate also joined them on their beach vacation. According to the

Huffington Post , it was from this getaway that pictures of the couple first surfaced publicly.

4. HE DATED THE SISTER OF PRINCE WILLIAM’S EX

He courted Alice Farquhar, the daughter of Captain Ian Farquhar, master of the Beaufort Hunt. She happens to be the sister of Prince William’s former girlfriend Rose. They dated for two years. Pippa herself had a penchant for dating rich men before meeting Jackson. In 2012, she spent Labor Day weekend with New York hotelier Andre Balazs . She has also been linked to ex-cricket player Alex Loudon. The Daily Mail reported that Loudon dumped the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister-in-law because of the “circus” that follows Pippa around everywhere she goes. Jackson doesn’t seem to mind this and was spotted holding hands with Pippa at Wimbledon in July. Last month, they were photographed at the Sugarplum Ball in London.
