JAMES CAMERON'S 'TERMINATOR' REBOOT JUST CAST ITS NEW LEAD KILLER ROBOT
He's really coming back.
In case you didn't think things got real when the rights to the Terminator franchise reverted to James Cameron and it turned out he was fine with re-starting the series, here's confirmation: There's a new killer robot in town.
Gabriel Luna, who stars on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Ghost Rider, has been cast in the title role, Deadline reports.
Luna isn't the only new face we'll see in the rebooted Terminator. Natalia Reyes—a Colombian star better known in Latin America than the states—and Diego Boneta will join the cast as well.
As Deadline reports, The Terminator is coming back after rights to the story were returned to James Cameron. The director got together with Skydance Media and brought director Tim Miller on board.
Other cast members include Mackenzie Davis, Diego Boneta, and—of course—Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The killer robots come after John Connor again on November 22, 2019.
