Tremors from earthquake in Wales felt in Reading
The quake was the biggest felt in 10 years
People in Reading reported feeling tremors
The earthquake struck on the morning of Saturday, February 17, and had a major impact on Wales and the west of England.
However, getreading readers have also reported feeling the tremors their homes in Reading, Berkshire.
The 4.4 magnitude quake shook buildings across Cornwall and Bristol and has been deemed Britain's strongest in a decade.
While nothing of that magnitude was felt in Reading, some people around the town said they noticed some of the impact some of the aftermath.
Jacqueline Fletcher, 29, who lives in Robert Parker Road near Reading Station, tweeted: "Think I just felt an #earthquake in #Reading #Berkshire?"
Her tweet was responded to by other people around the town who also felt it.
Speaking to getreading, she said: "I definitely felt something.
"I was on the sofa catching up with some telly when I felt it.
"It lasted for two to five seconds.
"It wasn't anything major, I think if I'd been moving I might not have felt it but because I was still I definitely felt the floor moving."

She added the force was not enough to cause damage or move items in her home.
Twitter user Laura Turner responded, saying: "[I]felt the sofa shake once and the walls creaked, thought nothing of it, but now posts all over fb and Twitter???"

The tremor hit at a depth of 7.4km according to seismologists.
Events of that magnitude only happen in the UK every three to five years.
It is the biggest event in the area since 1906 when a 5.2 magnitude earthquake hit.
getreading's sister title Wales Online has managed to pinpoint where the quake happened, in the village of Cwmllynfell in Neath Port Talbot.
