1985

The princess-to-be was bright-eyed and pigtailed from an early age, here at age 3 while on vacation with her family in the Lake District in northwest England.

2005

Middleton first caught Prince William’s eye when they were freshmen at St. Andrews University in 2001. By 2005, the brunette beauty had graduated from college and was regularly being talked about in the news.

Middleton didn’t shy away from more dramatic eye makeup when it came to the BOA Olympic Concert in 2012. She pulled her hair back in an uncharacteristic updo for the event.

Headlines screamed the news of Middleton’s new hairstyle, which featured side-swept bangs that framed her face. Middleton later admitted to the press that she wasn’t too “sure” about the new 'do. She grew out the bangs and changed her hairstyle shortly afterward.
